I have knees that are ALWAYS sore and often send shooting pains through my legs. I am also flat footed (I wear custom made orthotics) and find that I step on the outside of my foot and roll in instead of heel toe heel toe. When I put my feet together, my knees do no touch and my knees are facing inwards. My left one is worse than my right one. When I try to force my knees together, I barely succeed and it hurts a bit. Also, while being forced together, I can’t stand up straight and like I said before, they barely go together no matter how hard I try. The only time they do go together is when my heels are touching each other and my feet make a V (like a ballet position).
Should I bring this up with my doctor and what would be the plan of action (I’m 15). This is causing me pain and certain activities such as running and walking hurts. I do gymnastics and dance (not competitive) and I don’t want to have to give that up because my knees hurt. I also find I hurt my knees and ankles a lot but mostly my knees.

Adjust the armrest if chair with adjustable armrests to a height where your elbows can rest comfortably while your shoulders are relaxed and not pushed up. Finally, place your body comfortably at the chair so you can feel the support on your lower back. This will ensure that the natural inward curvature of your lower back is maintained when you’re in your chair.

A badly fitted chair forces you to adopt an uncomfortable posture that can lead to back problems, neck problems, and just general aches and pains. So please choose a chair which right’s for you.

Hi this is Bhushan from Mumbai..

I would like to ask that i have cleared the written test for Sub-Inspector in CPO examination. This exam is taken by Staff Selection Commission.
So now i have got a call letter for PET [Physical Efficiency Test] & Medical Test.

Q.1 What they do Medical Test ?
In the Call Letter they have just mentioned that : Medical Standards : Eye Sight, No Varicose Veins on legs, No Flat Foot, No other Physical Defect.
And
What other things they check for Medical other than given above Medical Standards ? What they check in Medical ?
Pls guide me in short as early as possible. As my PET amd MEdical is on 21st of this July 2009

I’m completed flat footed and experience a pain in the shins & knees after 3-4 days of regular running. I use my Nike BRS 1000 (dual density) shoes while running, which I feel do not offer adequate support. Can I supplement them with some sort of insoles to help me while running?
