Your Questions About Sandals With Arch Support

Steven asks…
Large Size Women’s flip flops with arch support?
I wear a size 11 to 12 in Women’s shoes (11 in flip flops) and I need a good flip flop with arch support. I was wondering if anyone knew of any brands (and styles if possible) that have good arch support and that carry my size. All feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
extra note: i was also wondering if anyone has tried rainbow sandals: found at www.rainbowsandals.com. This is one of the brands I am considering and they carry my size. Thanks!
I am 16 years old and looking for shoes that aren’t old-womanish and my feet are also slightly wide.

Mary asks…
Cute shoes with arch support?
Hey! Okay, so I’m 15, and I play a lot of basketball which has been very hard on my ankles.. And I just found out that I have ‘falling arches’ and I’m not supposed to wear flip flops anymore
I have to always wear tennis shoes with inserts in them, or some kind of shoe that has good support.. Does anyone know of some good quality/cute shoes? If you do I would LOVE to know.. Thank you soooooo much!!
Oh.. And since I can’t wear flip flops I have NO sandals.. So if you know of any sandals that would be great!!
Thanks!!!

Check out Earth shoes. They have arch support, are good for back pain, and are cute.

Maria asks…
Good hiking or running sandals for women?
Could someone please recommend a hiking or running sandal that would be appropriate for a 60 mile charity walk? I need a sandal since I can’t tolerate pressure on my toenails – a major problem for me on last years walk. Appearance is not important, only comfort. I was considering Teva, which has a sandal called Cynder. Any others? I need a nice cushiony heel, arch support, and I would be wearing socks with these sandals.

Richard asks…
I have a lot of trouble with my feet hurting, can someone recommend comfortable women’s sandals?
I have flat feet, so does this mean I need arch support, or will that make them worse?

MonroyPro answers:
Clark’s, Chaco’s, and Born are all comfy, cushy and supportive. I also like Birkenstocks and Tevas, but I’m not sure if you can be that casual at work. The top three tend to run a little wider and/or come in wider widths if you have that problem.
If your feet are absolutely killing you at the end of the day, and you don’t have a pool, run them under a very cold faucet. It feels amazing….takes away any swelling.

Charles asks…
Which is better: leather rainbow sandals or hemp?
When I say better, I mean in terms of comfort, how long it lasts, and how each does when contacted with water.
Also, will a double stack arch hurt someone who has normal arched feet? And if they were to get men’s sizes (for a wider foot), do men’s Rainbows still have double arch support like the ladies?
Thanks!

For comfort I would get a pair of Gurkee Rope sandals, very comfortable and salt water resistant. Its like walking on a carpet
